Dental emergencies and accidents can happen when you least expect them — and, many times, when it’s least convenient. One silver lining you can count on is that Mad River Family Dental provides emergency dental care to the Enon area.
If you lose or break a tooth suddenly, we can help. It doesn’t matter if you were playing sports when it happened, eating a hard piece of food, or even if you simply tripped and fell. Try to find your missing tooth or the pieces of your broken tooth, rinse them with milk or water, and save them in your mouth or a glass of milk. It’s imperative to get in to our office as soon as possible so we can try to save your tooth. If we are unable to save your tooth, we will help make you comfortable from your accident and talk about possible options, including bridges or dental implants.
Other emergencies can include severe pain from a bad infection in your tooth. There’s no reason to put up with that pain — we can address that dental emergency often with a same-day appointment, when possible.
If your emergency does not fall into either of these categories, we still want to see you. Dental emergencies can be panic inducing, and we want to help relieve your worries as soon as possible. No matter what your oral health emergency might be, we are here for you.
If your dental emergency happens after office hours, we recommend going to an emergency room — particularly if you are in pain. Be sure and take care of yourself as soon as possible. Leave us a message or call first thing in the morning so we can lay out a plan of treatment for your smile as soon as possible.
